Col. Kristine Henderson, M.D., trained at the Uniformed Services University medical school. Later, Col. Henderson would become an Air Force physician. Following 9/11, Dr. Henderson volunteered and trained as a Critical Care Air Transport Team physician and in 2003 deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom to Iraq.
When Dr. Henderson returned from Iraq, she became chief of the Critical Care Air Transport Team at Patrick AFB in FL. Unfortunately, she was then diagnosed with multiple sclerosis forcing her to retire from her career as an AF physician.
Dr. Henderson reached out to us to see if we could provide her a new iBOT.
Here is a short video Dr. Henderson shared with us showing off her beaming smile in the brand new 2020 iBOT Mobility System Independence. Click on the title of this post to see a larger version.
